Are we all intelligent?

The way modern society judges intelligence is only directed to one group of people, thats the people able to read and memorize a lot of crap. Im not saying that people who have high test scores are all fake, some are ligitametly intelligent, but there is a good number of people including myself that have a slight ablitity to memorize a lot of words, but most of them don't know what they mean or how to apply them. We forget about those people who have appitudes that are never tested on because no one cares, they will walk into the SAT's and get a low score but will be able to fix a car in a matter of minutes and know exactly what was wrong with it. The people who have the ablity to paint a picture that touches the hearts of so many but hey, there written off because on paper they don't look smart. They have unique ablities not regonized by many, no one that could help them be succussful in life. I based who I am off my ability to stlyle clothes, but of course..i have to study to get my test scores up so I can take the SAT's and get into a good college, but only the people in my life that bothered to regonized my unique ablity are the ones who appricate it. Though it would be hard to change the way the system works, i bet we could if we simply had more people regonizing the appitudes of others. But before we do that, take time to regonize a skill of someone around you that may be one of those people written off...they will appricate it.
