WAR

What do you think of when you the "war". I think of hatred. Why do we go to war? i don't know. Do you? The reason there is so much hatred in the world is because of war. I am fairly educated about the subject and i still don't understand it. The amount of time, effort, money and lives that have been put into war have only corrupt the society more. If we could just let go of all that hatred for others we would be able to solve bigger issues than whatever it is were fighting about. We could solve world hunger, global warming, homelessness and so many more. Some people have been fighting for thousands of years and now it doesn't even matter. The bigger issues are going to show through one day and when war takes over our minds, its going to be to late. I could probably promise the world that if we just stopped fighting and thought about something else but ourselves for a day we could have ideas as one that would change the world forever. I sure wants world peace, a little effort from everyone would make a huge difference.

School

The pressure to do well in school in enormous. Everyone even at such a young age is always telling you that what you do now will effect your future. Me being a straight A student knows this pressure really well. Thats why i get A's. Where i live there are these special schools that you have to be accepted to that specialize in certain things. These schools are for the best of the best. You have to be in the top 1% to get in. And ever since 6th grade thats all my parents have ever talked about. It bugs me that they really want me to get in and somehow all i can think about is how i won't. My sister got in so i guess they expect me to be the same. If i don't get in ill feel as if i have let them and myself down for disappointing them. These feelings only come from stress at school. Remember, if your parents or anyone else pressures you about your future, think about yourself first. What do you want for you.

AIM

The commonly known e mail server "AOL" also has something called"AIM"(aol instant messenger) This program allows you to chat with friends instantly using a screen name. A screen name can be anything you want(Ex. puppylover89, dancingchic24 etc.) An example of a convesation on aim is as fallows.

puppylover89: hello
dancingchic24: hi
puppylover89: whats up?
dancingchic24: nothing
dancingchic24: did we have math homework?
puppylover89: no....

Aim is a completely safe program that allows you to chat with friends and/or family and no one eles. You can only talk to someone you don't know if you exept thier IM( what you call each line in a conversation)

Screen Names
When you make a screen name you have to make it original because if you bein the process in making a screen name and you pick something common then there is a good chance that someone already has that screen name therefore not allowing you to have it. To get a screen name all you have to do is log onto www.aim.com. In the upper right hand corner on the homepage you should see a box that states"get a screen name". click on that then fallow the directons. But when filling out the form your allowed to lie on any personal info that you don't want to give away.


Downloading Aim
Downloading Aim on your computer is really simple, just make sure that you have already made a screen name before downloading. To download aim log onto www.aim.com and in the center of the homepage you should see a orange bow that states " download Aim". Click on that then fallow directons. After the download is complete then x out of the web site and on your main desktop screen you should see a symbol for aim. Click on that and your Aim bar should open up.
Log in with your screen name and password.


Adding Buddies
Adding Buddies is easy simply ask the people you know if they have a screen name and if so look at the center of the bottom of your aim bar and you should see a +/_ sign thats how you add and delete buddies. Click on that then fallow the directons. If you want to delete a buddie select the buddie you want to delete then do the same process exept you press "delete selection".

"Out of the Loop"

Have you ever been so annoyed when someone didn't trust you? Especially when they have absolutely no reason not to trust you. They simply don't feel like telling you something. And what makes the situation even worse is when everyone else around you knows whatever this person isn't telling you. You feel "out of the loop". Feeling out of the loop is one of the worst feelings there is. I think so.

Modeling. Its Not What it Seems.

Modeling. It not really what it seems. Their are no diets or pressure, its actually a lot of fun. People dress you up and do your hair and makeup for you while you sit in a studio and socialize with everyone around you. Posing is a little bit harder but not like what you see in the movies. The photographer gives you directions every step of the way. So if you ever become interested in modeling don't be afraid of anything, I"m sure you will have a great experience! But with all of this fun does come disappointments and failures. Also keep in mind that this hobby does cost a lot of money. Always remember that the first place you find may not be the the best place, always check prices, schedules, and contracts. Its also a good idea to look up whatever studio your interested in on the internet to confirm that they are legitimate. READ CONTRACTS VERY CAREFULLY. You don't want to be forced into something because you were to tired to read a contract. If possible take the contract home with you and take time to read it thoroughly more than once.
